Awards

During my PhD time, I remember three instances of being awarded.

The first one was in 2011 during a workshop for PhD students, prior to the Annual Conference of the German Association for Sport Psychology (asp) in Cologne. I was so nervous whilst presenting my project idea, but enjoyed the time discussing together with the other attendees. After two days of intense discussions, during the workshop closing, I was awarded – amongst others for other reasons – the first prize for posing critical questions (thanks Tom, this award I liked most of all!).

The second one was during the FEPSAC Conference in 2013 for my poster presentation, which later on resulted in the privilege to contribute to the book Sport and Exercise Psychology Research, my first book chapter, see here (thank you, Markus!).

And the third one was the Dissertationspreis for the whole package, my PhD thesis, awarded by the Universitätsgesellschaft Bielefeld, for the best dissertation in our department that year.
